潘家雨，博士，东北大学计算机科学与工程学院教授，博士生导师，主要研究方向包括物联网边缘计算理论、量子计算与网络、边缘智能网络系统等。曾于2017年本科毕业于上海交通大学，2023年博士毕业于美国俄亥俄州立大学电子与计算机工程学院。曾于2023年担任浙江大学软件学院担任特聘研究员，2025年担任浙江大学百人计划研究员。2026年起担任东北大学计算机与工程学院教授，博士生导师。担任多个计算机网络方向国际学术会议的tpc member，如ACM MobiHoc。曾研究方向属于物联网中的边缘计算，主要通过强化学习及停止时间等技术，大幅改善网络中的重要性能，包括信息年龄与评估误差。在此过程中提供多个基础数学贡献，如延伸Shiryaev的单一停止时间理论体系并精确求解一类多重停止时间问题等。部分研究成果应用到一项美国海军科研室项目。以第一作者/通讯作者身份在ACM Sigmetrics、IEEE/ACM ToN、IEEE INFOCOM等计算机网络及建模方向的会议期刊发表论文10篇，其中CCF A类论文5篇。主持国家级青年人才项目（海外）、国家自然科学基金青年项目、宁波市甬江人才项目。

I received my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Ohio State University in 2023. My graduate advisors are Prof. Ness B. Shroff (Distinguished Professor, IEEE Fellow) and Prof. Yin Sun. Before that, I received my B.S. degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017, advised by Prof. Xinbing Wang and Prof. Luoyi Fu. During 2023-2025, I was an assistant professor in the School of Software Technology, Zhejiang University. In 2024, I was granted by the National Level Young Talents Project (Oversea), and the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
My main research directions are about edge computing theory/systems in IoT, and Quantum computing/networks. Specifically, I used some mathematical tools such as reinforcement learning, stopping rules to model various wireless network environments. For each environment, I obtained an exact but simple solution to optimize essential metrics, such as estimation error and age of information. In addition, in the US, I have participated in multiple national level projects that are closely related to my research, such as Office of Naval Research (coding based) and National Science Foundation. I have published over 10 papers in the area of networking and modeling, including ACM Sigmetrics, IEEE/ACM ToN, IEEE INFOCOM, etc.
